Sierra Leone is a country endowed with natural resources. Sheka Kevin Bob Kargbo (in photo), a Sierra Leonean actor, script writer, and producer, currently residing in The Netherlands, has transformed his artistic and dramatic skills into movie production. Producing films is a project that must go through so many different elements to get it from idea to the theater. Kevin Bob teamed up with a renowned Nigerian movie Director, Uxtin Chase to produce his first movie “Heart of Vengeance” which premiered at Pathe Cinema in the city of Eindhoven last year.

The film was written and produced by Sheka Kevin Bob Kargbo who also played a lead role alongside a Sierra Leone female artist, Aminata Bamba of Okoh Niaja music directed by Uxtin Chase.

This was the first Sierra Leonean movie to be premiered at Pathe Cinema in the city of Eindhoven. The premiere was attended by members of the Sierra Leonean community in Holland, delegates from the Sierra Leone Embassy in Belgium, including Chernor Ojuku Sesay as well as other nationalities across Holland.

This was another proud moment for Sierra Leoneans as we have once again demonstrated that we are talented and we can do what others have done if given the opportunity.

Let us support Kevin as he continues to work with Uxtin Chase to produce another movie which will be out soon.

The movie is now available on DVD and is marketed by Ansev Enterprises at 4 Short Street, Freetown.
