Bollore Chief Pledges Construction of 300- Seater Cinema,Multi purpose hall in Freetown

Vice President Dr. Juldeh Jalloh who left the shores of Sierra Leone for France as his first stop in a planned European tour aimed at reaching out to investors with the ‘New Direction’ approach to foreign investment and what Sierra Leone as a country has to offer in that direction has on Tuesday 9thOctober,2018 held  a successful engagement with the CEO of the Bollore group Mr. Cyril Bollore  in Paris.
VP Jalloh shared his government resolved in protecting investments in the country, he requested Bollore group which subsidiary Bollore Transport and Logistic has recently completed a one hundred and twenty million dollar ($120M) new Terminal project in Sierra Leone to consider investing in green business initiative and to play a more active role in the value chain.
Reacting to the Vice President appeal, the CEO of Bollore group Cyril Bollore committed his group’s determination to increase its investment in new areas that will enhance the value chain and job creation for the young people of the country.
The CEO of Bollore Mr.Cyril Bollore pledged that his group will construct an ultra modern 300 seater cinema and multipurpose hall in the capital Freetown as demonstration of his commitment to support the government in it job creation drive.
The meeting was also attended by the Country Manager and the brain behind the port extension project Mr. Fabjanko Kokan.

Discussion around Mr. Cyril Bollore attendance at the proposed inauguration of the new terminal also formed part of the deliberations.
