The Togolese international striker, Emmanuel Adebayor, has spent this weekend battling allegation of evicting his mother from his house; and accusing her of witchcraft. The bizarre allegations; which had been reported by some media, said he evicted his mum from his house because he thought she was a witch.

But, reacting to the issue on Saturday, Tottenham FC star, Adebayor, denied the report, but admitted there are some family skirmishes.

I never evicted my mother from the house. She decided to leave the house, he said.

He added: How am I going to be in touch with my mum if my mum is the one telling everyone that my work will not be successful?

Adebayor who earns £100,000 per week at Tottenham, also responded to the emerging allegations by disclosing he has bought a house in the Ghanaian capital Accra for his sister.

The issue comes barely 24 hours after sources quoted Tottenham as planning to sell Adebayor soon- amids all round pressure from fans and some soccer analysts urging Spurs to “off-load” the flopping Adebayor if the club really wants to improve its games.
